Namie Finally Reveals Covers for Go Round

Ok, so I hadn’t been paying much attention to Namie’s new single. I guess I was more miffed at the fact so many singles have been released for this era so far, I didn’t really give it a fair listen. However, I only heard the full song today. The other listen was of course a quick commercial tie-in, which undoubtedly used the somewhat lackluster chorus. From what I’ve learned though, it’s best not to judge a Namie song until you hear it in full- most of the time you end up pleasantly surprised! This is pretty much the case for Go Round. It’s a pretty nice tune and I can see it being on whatever album she and Avex are concocting. This will also be another double A-side- the second song is entitled ‘YEAH-OH.’ Not sure how this will turn out, but looking forward to it. Of course the coolest things to happen so far for this single are the covers and the radio rip being posted today. To the left is the cd+dvd cover, and the cd only version is below. These are probably the best covers of the era so far- well, more like a tie between her triple A-side from July, ‘Fight Together/Naked/Tempest.’ There are also bonus posters for this single if you order on Cdjapan. Apparently the cd only will have a poster for YEAH-OH and the cd+dvd will have the poster for Go Round. Sounds interesting- I’d definitely like to see how those posters turn out. So far, this single’s a yes for me!

Here’s the radio rip if you’d like to have a listen:
